Webinar: U.S.–Pakistan Relationship & Its Impact on the Region

PAKISTANWEB2.png

Join CODEPINK and the Community Alliance for Peace and Justice for the conclusion of our special two-part webinar series to deepen awareness and analysis of the current situation in Pakistan. As the current U.S. administration moves toward renewed political engagement with Pakistan, many are seeking a clearer understanding of how this shift impacts regional dynamics.

Make sure to watch our first webinar HERE!

In this webinar, we will explore the following questions:
  • How is the US leveraging its relationship with the Pakistani army vis-a-vis its neighbouring countries?
  • By joining Trump's so-called Board of Peace, has Pakistan already “normalized” with Israel and betrayed Palestinian self-determination?
  • Pakistan has already signed a defence agreement with Saudi Arabia. What does this mean for its relationship with Saudi Arabia’s traditional foes (and friends), including Iran?
  • Is Pakistan expected to play a role in a future US/Israel led war on Iran?
  • What’s the US strategy behind taking back the Bagram airbase?
