Dr. Ayesha Siddiqa is an independent scholar currently working as the Charles Wallace Fellow at St Antony’s College, Oxford. She obtained a PhD in War Studies from King’s College, London and is author of two books on Pakistan’s military: Pakistan’s Arms Procurement and Military Build-up, 1979-99: In Search of a Policy, and Military Inc: Inside Pakistan’s Military Economy. Dr Siddiqa contributes extensively to international journals and her expertise includes civil military relations, defence economics and political Islam. She is currently working on a book on the sociology of militancy in Pakistan.
Dr. Moeed Pirzada is a prominent Pakistani geo-strategic analyst, TV Anchor, columnist and blogger currently based in Washington, DC. He has written extensively for national & international publications, including Dawn, Tribune, Guardian, Al Jazeera, Khaleej Times, and is founding Editor of Global Village Space (GVS), an online news publication with a print magazine.
Junaid S. Ahmad teaches Law, Religion, and Global Politics and is the Director of the Center for the Study of Islam and Decolonization (CSID), Islamabad, Pakistan. He is a member of the International Movement for a Just World, Movement for Liberation from Nakba, and Saving Humanity and Planet Earth.
