We will be watching and discussing the documentary, The Wanted 18, a story of Palestinians in Beit Sahour who started a local dairy farm during the First Intifada as a form of nonviolent resistance, by hiding a herd of 18 cows from Israeli occupation forces when the dairy collective was deemed a “threat to Israeli national security” in an attempt to squash the resistance. This documentary is 1 hour and 15 minutes long, so prepare for a bit longer of a Missing Peace Monday meeting!
