CODEPINK in Maine totally rocks. Just came across this story in the central Maine newspaper, the Kennebec Journal's Morning Sentinel:
SKOWHEGAN -- Local members of the national peace activist organization Code Pink will stage an "I Miss America" pageant on Sunday beginning at noon on the Margaret Chase Smith bridges in downtown Skowhegan.
Contestants wearing pink formal gowns will parade in sashes proclaiming their identity as "Miss Used Funds," "Miss Led," and other slogans sure to resonate with a fed-up American public, local Code Pink coordinator Lisa Savage said.
