CODEPINK’s Local Peace Economy, Building the Future We Want! Anti-Imperialist Campaign Action Series

Join CODEPINK for two weeks of focus on the Local Peace Economy, where we’ll explore how to resist the war machine by building alternatives—right where we live. For decades, we’ve fought to end wars. But we won’t stop militarism until we dismantle the war economy it serves.  While we shine a light on the violence of the policy makers we must also be cultivating a future of peace, divesting ourselves from the war economy culture we inhabit and practicing the habits that lead to peace.

Through social media series, articles, and podcasts, we will share interesting facts about co-ops, mutual aid networks, and global resistance to exploitative capitalism. Giving you practical tools to take your next steps to engaging locally—from organizing a clothing swap, skill share, or local cooperative or how to grow your local Peace Economy. War thrives on exploitation, oppression and extraction—join us in cultivating a future rooted in care, cooperation, and community. The giving, sharing, caring, thriving, relational and resilient peace economy.
