Local Peace Economy Gathering in Venice

riseloveresist.png

Join us for our next Local Peace Economy gathering in Venice on May 30! At this month's gathering, we'll be joined by Becky Dennison and Linda Lucks of Venice Community Housing (VCH), who will share their work creating affordable housing and other opportunities for low-income and homeless residents in and near Venice for the past 30 years.

As homelessness has reached and surpassed a crisis here in Los Angeles, and as the voter initiatives H and HHH are implemented, there are some new opportunities as well as ongoing challenges in ensuring more people can access much needed housing as well as protecting the health, wellbeing and civil rights of those forced to remain on our streets and sidewalks.

Join us for a conversation with VCH about increasing housing opportunities for homeless and low-income people in Venice, uplifting and joining the voices of those committed to equity and inclusion, and other regional initiatives and challenges in meaningfully reducing homelessness.
