As we move from the war economy to the peace economy, grief arises as we realize what has been stolen from our lives and what they were diverted to. Many of us learned to turn away from pain and the feelings that arise when we face our complicity, our own mortality, and the possibility of loss. In this session, our special guest, Aerin Dunford, will explore how we can practice being with and listening to grief as a force that infuses all of our lives… and not as something that we need to heal, change, or fix.
Aerin Dunford is the Lead Weaver at The Emergence Network where she cultivates the ground for experiments and practice around the notion of "postactivism." She asks poignant questions about the way that humans respond to crisis. Aerin has a master’s degree in Organizational Management with a focus on leadership and change from SIT Graduate Institute. She lives in Oaxaca de Juárez, Mexico.
