The Stories We Tell Ourselves: A Conversation on Community & Culture with Charles Eisenstein

11.19

Join us for a conversation with Charles Eisenstein about the stories that surround us.

We live in a culture of stories. Some stories we tell our children at bedtime, but the stories that undergird our cultural support of the War Economy's version of reality -- that we are separate, that we are powerless, and that we must consume to find our purpose.

The creation of new stories, based on the truth that we are enmeshed with each other and the more-than-human world in profound ways, is a foundational way we can begin to build a culture of peace.

Join us for this important conversation as we explore themes of building culture, trust, and community through stories.

Charles Eisenstein is a philosopher, public speaker and author, who explores themes of culture and consciousness in his books The Ascent of Humanity, Sacred Economics, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible, and Climate: A New Story (among others).
