Join CODEPINK’s Anti-Imperialist Campaign Series as we take a deeper look at our Latin America campaign. We will discuss the many faces of U.S. intervention in Latin America, reveal how economic strangulation through sanctions, the violent coups disguised as "democracy promotion," the corporate plunder of land and resources have all led to increase migration to the United States, where migrants are now being met with the brutal violence and trauma of ICE detention and deportation.
Through articles and social media threads, we will educate on how the same system that destabilizes Latin America fuels repression in our own communities through militarized police and ICE. True justice requires we confront these connections - and join our struggles across borders. Join us to break the chains of empire and grow the people's movement for liberation!
