Imperialism's impact on Womxn Panel

Join CODEPINK and the The People’s Forum for a panel, Imperialism's impact on Womxn. The panel will share an analysis on the impacts of imperialism in our communities, particularly as it relates to the violence women experience through tactics of war. On the panel are:

Moderating: Olivia Canlas (AF3IRM)

Speakers:  Ariel Gold (CODEPINK); Nieves Ayress (former chilean political prisoner, Trabajadoras por La Paz); Cathy Rojas (WORD), Mandy Carter (founder of War Resisters League, PPC:NCMR)

This panel is part of commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

The People’s Forum is hosting Marielle Franco + Berta Cáceres, Presente! One Day Summit on Gender and State Violence with panel discussions, workshops and cultural performances to address issues related to gender and state violence. We want to uplift stories of resilience, resistance, build bridges and share tools towards building a united movement where working class women are at the front and center.
