2026 Freedom Convoy USA Launches to Demand America Put Its People First and Challenge US Aid to Israel

LOS ANGELES—The Freedom Convoy launches in Los Angeles on October 17, beginning a 10-day, 3,000-mile journey across America along historic Route 66 to Washington, D.C. The convoy will challenge U.S. military aid to Israel, Israel’s influence on American political decision-making, and the consequences for Americans who speak out against Israeli government policy.

The launch offers two media opportunities: a gathering outside the Israeli Consulate and an unscripted public Q&A on Hollywood Boulevard and political street art protest, where convoy participants will invite passersby to ask anything about Israel and its actions for a “pulse check.”

  • WHEN: Saturday, October 17, 2026; rally at 12:00 PM PDT, public Q&A at 2:00 PM PDT
  • WHERE: Israeli Consulate, Wilshire Boulevard; Hollywood Boulevard near Hollywood & Highland

LAUNCH-DAY MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES

  • 12:00 PM PDT — Rally & Press Conference outside the Israeli Consulate
    • Location: Consulate General of Israel, 11766 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90025
    • Convoy participants gather outside the Israeli Consulate to challenge U.S. support for Israel and put questions of military aid, political influence, and accountability at the center of the launch. This event is organized with support from Jewish Voices for Peace LA (JVP LA), CODEPINK LA, and other local community organizations.
  • 2:00 PM PDT — “ASK ME ANYTHING ABOUT ISRAEL AND ITS LIES”
    • Location: Hollywood Boulevard, near Hollywood & Highland (exact meeting point to be confirmed)
    • In an unscripted public Q&A, convoy participants will invite people on Hollywood Boulevard to question them about Israel, U.S. support for Israel, and the political consequences of challenging Israeli government policy. The encounter offers a direct, visual opportunity to capture the convoy’s message in conversation with the public. This will be accompanied by political street art protest where a woman dressed up as the Statue of Liberty enacts a scene where she’s bound by Israeli soldiers.

CONVOY BACKGROUND

The Freedom Convoy exists because Americans deserve transparency and accountability for the billions of dollars the United States provides to Israel, the influence Israel and its supporters exert on U.S. politics, and the consequences for Americans who challenge that relationship.

Among the questions the convoy will raise along its route:

  • Where does the money go? U.S. military assistance to Israel; and the contrast between that spending and unmet needs in American healthcare, housing, education, and infrastructure.
  • Who gets to speak? The use of political pressure and the conflation of anti-Zionism with antisemitism to challenge or penalize criticism of Israel and its government.
  • Who sets America’s priorities? The role of pro-Israel lobbying, advocacy organizations, and financial interests in shaping U.S. policy toward Israel.

The convoy will take these questions to communities along America’s Bible Belt where Israel invests ~$4 million to influence American church-goers before arriving in Washington, D.C., on October 26, ahead of the 2026 U.S. midterm elections. Its message: Americans should be able to scrutinize U.S. support for Israel, question Israel’s influence on American politics, and oppose Israeli government policy without being silenced.

ABOUT THE FREEDOM CONVOY

The 2026 Freedom Convoy USA is a grassroots, 3,500-mile journey from Los Angeles to Washington, DC, exposing Israeli and Zionist influence on U.S. policy to everyday Americans and opposing U.S. support for Israel. Ahead of the November elections, at a time when American families are struggling with the cost of healthcare, childcare, and housing, the Convoy calls for government priorities that put American families and communities first and an end to taxpayer funding that contributes to Palestinian suffering.

The convoy will travel through communities along historic Route 66, holding public events and outreach activities before arriving in Washington on October 26.
