Fred Teng is president of the America China Public Affairs Institute and serves in multiple leadership and advisory roles, including senior U.S. representative of the China-United States Exchange Foundation, executive council member of the Center for China and Globalization, visiting professor at Sichuan University, and board member of USA Badminton. He has held senior positions in media, telecommunications, finance, and public relations at organizations such as NewsChina magazine, AT&T, Merrill Lynch, and Oppenheimer & Co. Teng has also led numerous non-profit and community organizations, including WNET/Thirteen’s New York Community Advisory Board, the Hong Kong Association of New York, the Asian Financial Society, and the Chinese American Planning Council.
