CODEPINK is looking for an intern to join our team in Washington, DC! Do you strongly oppose war and want to see our national budget invested in life affirming pursuits like education and healthcare? As an Activist Intern in DC, you will:
* Strengthen your skill sets in creating change both locally and globally
* Gain experience in strategic campaigning by organizing actions and events
* Collaborate with a team of experienced and passionate organizers
The ideal candidate possesses strong writing and communication skills, a passion for social justice work & ending war, some international experience, and the ability to work well both independently and with a team.
The internship starts in early September and applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis until then. Full-time and part-time positions are available, but interns able to fulfill 32 hours a week will be given a stipend of $1,000 a month.
