CODEPINK is joining National Nurses United to stand with nurses, patients, and community allies mobilizing on Thursday, August 27th, in eight cities across the United States to demand that hospitals, elected officials, and our government immediately cut ties with the tech giant Palantir.
Palantir is the real-life evil corporation that makes all other evils possible: Its AI-powered surveillance and data analysis fuel ICE murders, mass deportation and detention, the U.S.’ illegal wars, and Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Palantir apps have allowed ICE to imprison more than 500 babies and 6,200 children, generating outrageous reports of abuse and suffering. At the same time, Palantir partners with health care corporations to profit by automating unsafe staffing levels in our hospitals.
Join us in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, August 27th at 11:45 am at Waterfront Park in Georgetown, on the 31st St. side, for our national Palantir Out Day of Action. Healthcare, not warfare!
