About the position:
CODEPINK is hiring a Campaign/Project Manager who will play a central role within the CODEPINK community. This manager will work directly with the Co-Directors to identify targets and build strategic campaigns. They will develop educational materials, tools, and ladders of engagement for both local leaders and individual activists. Assisting local chapters in creating campaign strategy while supporting the regional campaign managers with the necessary tools. They will identify strategic opportunities for engagement and ensure the campaigns are connected to coalitions and deliver on our objectives and communication/outreach goals. This Manager will also support the monitoring and evaluation of the campaign and organize joint learning and development sessions with the community and our coalition partners. They will look at integrating new tools and technologies to support the locals and activists with their campaigning to increase the coverage and reach of the campaign. This role will be in coordination with the entire CODEPINK team.
Location: Remote based in USA, some domestic travel periodically, including annual staff meetups.
Position type: Full-time, one-year contract. Renewal based on funding.
Salary: $54,080.00 annually
Job Duties:
- Develop the overall campaign strategy and work plan.
- Create project documents and tasks to support regional organizers including toolkits, educational materials and campaign blueprints for locals and individuals to use around the country.
- Manage BoughtByZionism.org as a tool for members to use, support with toolkits, keep the information up-to-date and reliable. Work with the coalition to assist them in using the tool for their campaigns and engagement.
- Compile resources, educational materials and cultural support for campaigns.
- Weave campaigns into national mobilizations including but not limited to International Women’s Day, International Day of Peace, Earth Day and May Day.
- Work with our Communications team to make sure they get the content they need to tell the story and our campaigns get the coverage needed.
- Create mutual support networks between CODEPINK and other partners.
- Build and nurture relationships with coalition partners and CODEPINK members/volunteers.
Must Have the Following Qualifications:
Campaign/Project Management Expertise
- Campaign advocacy experience, national level preferred
- Excellent knowledge of the peace movement and US foreign policy
- 3+ years of proven experience strategizing campaigns and working in coalition, and both online and in-person, with a demonstrated understanding of how to drive people to take action through online and in-person engagement
- Proven track record of successful project planning and execution
- Collaborative team player
Technical & Communication
- Creative thinker and strategist, media savvy, with an eye for designing and presenting engaging online content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience creating content for e-blasts, petitions, blogs, flyers and educational material
- Solid computer skills; experience with email programs like mailchimp, updating web pages like Wordpress, NationBuilder, ActionNetwork, basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva, managing and leading Zoom webinars and calls, and social media channels
- Must have a working computer and internet connection, with the ability to work remotely without any distractions

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and self-organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage details, tight deadlines, work independently, and follow through with a minimum of direct supervision
- Able to work outside of business hours when necessary for rapid response
