CODEPINK’s PEACE POSITION #6: END U.S. SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL'S OCCUPATION

israel.jpg

By Nancy Kricorian, CODEPINK organizer for BDS Campaigns

“The US government should hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law. Commit to ending financial, military, and diplomatic support for Israel's occupation and its human rights abuses.”

CODEPINK’s work to support dignity, equality, and justice for all people in Israel and Palestine includes:

  • challenging U.S. policy in the region;
  • countering the lobbying of AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee);
  • organizing delegations to Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel;
  • and targeting Israeli occupation profiteers with our high-profile boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) campaigns against companies including Ahava Dead Sea Laboratories, Airbnb, RE/MAX, and SodaStream.

For more detailed analysis, see  http://www.endtheoccupation.org/section.php?id=30.
