Afghanistan Year 1380 shows life from the perspective of the Afghan people during the early days of the war, including the reconciliation among ethnic groups, the role of international forces and the treatment of Taliban prisoners of war in Northern Alliance jails. Our discussion that follows will focus on the impact of the U.S. war and occupation, the legacy a 20 year occupation leaves behind, and what could lie ahead.
