A TRIBUTE TO CANDACE

Candace Ross, former priestess of the Temple of Goddess Spirituality, Cactus Springs NV, died this spring, 2023, after a long battle with breast cancer. She had moved to Ohio to be with her sister several years ago.
We “Creechers” have used the “Goddess Temple regularly, twice a year, for anti-drone/peace work for almost the entire period of time Candace was Priestess.
During all of that time we were fortunate enough to witness Candace’s devotion to Sekhmet Temple and the surrounding grounds, and her dedication to promoting peace. The rituals she led for us in the temple were always a special treat, helping to better ground us spiritually and mentally, enabling us to do the important work at Creech Killer Drone base from a deeper place of nonviolence and love.
It was always a treat to return to the temple each time to witness the amazing improvements she made at the Temple, both artistically and functionally/structurally over the many years that we crossed paths with Candace. Her commitment and success in obtaining a replacement for the stolen Sekhmet statue, with an even more beautiful one and her orchestrating the building of the Peace Pavilion, which has been a vital meeting ground for groups and individuals passing through, providing much shade and comfort in the desert environment, are just two of the many contributions that she has made over the years.
Candace, we are very lucky to have gotten to know you and work with you over these many years.
