Donald Trump has recently announced the formation of the Board of Peace, a body composed of American, British, and Israeli politicians who seek to claim Gaza as theirs for profit. With an AI presentation, they discussed rebuilding Gaza into a commercial hub, with data centers and waterfront properties. This is colonization at its core: Palestinians will be pushed into ghettos on their own land, while white settlers take over their homes and commerce.Â
There is nothing peaceful about the Board of Peace, and that should be the headline narrative. However, some of the country’s largest news outlets are expressing “hope” and asking for “grace” for the people who intend to kill and displace more Palestinians. Send a letter to the Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post to tell them to stop whitewashing an ongoing genocide.
