CODEPINK New York

By Nancy Mancias

On May 23, BlackRock held its annual shareholders meeting at the Lotte Palace Hotel in New York City. CODEPINK and allies were there peacefully protesting inside and outside the hotel.  The activists were protesting the world’s largest shadow bank for its practice of investing in weapons manufacturers and companies that profit from war and violence, in the U.S. and around the world. Join us in pressuring BlackRock to divest from war by signing the letter to CEO Larry Fink.

In support of the New York protest, CODEPINK organized demonstrations in Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Palo Alto.
