Nadine Naber
Nadine Naber is founder of Liberate Your Research Workshops, and a Professor at UIC in Gender and Women’s Studies. She is co-founder of Mamas Activating Movements for Abolition and Solidarity (MAMAS) and the Arab American Cultural Center and works with INCITE! Palestine Force and Palestinian Feminist Collective members in Chicago. She is the author/editor of books such as Arab America: Gender, Activism, and Belonging; Arab and Arab American Feminisms; and the Color of Violence.
Hadiya Afzal
Hadiya Afzal serves as part of FCNL’s strategic advocacy team as the diaspora engagement and partnerships organizer. Her responsibilities include coordinating the Diaspora Organizer Gathering to train cohorts of diaspora advocates, traveling to support subsequent deep organizing efforts in diaspora communities across the United States, and elevating impacted voices in Congressional debate to advance peacebuilding efforts instead of war-making.
Hadiya grew up in the Chicago area and earned her B.A. in Political Science with honors from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
Noor
Noor is an organizer with the Palestinian Feminist Collective. She is a community based researcher focused on harm reduction and gender based violence prevention.
