Join Pennsylvania constituents and allies for a lunchtime teach-in and community discussion on war, peace, and international law.
Many Pennsylvanians feel deeply disappointed by the direction of U.S. foreign policy and the bipartisan support for militarism and endless war. This gathering is an opportunity to come together, reflect, and make those voices heard.
Bring your lunch, listen, share your perspective, and send a message to Senator John Fetterman that many Pennsylvanians oppose endless war, collective punishment, and policies that undermine human rights and diplomacy.
Discussion topics include:
- The devastating war in Gaza that he continues to support
- The reckless, unprovoked war on Iran that is impacting the entire world
- Why he should oppose sending more weapons and bulldozers to Israel
- The importance of supporting pro-Palestine student activists
- Why he should oppose U.S. intervention in Cuba
- Why sanctioning the ICC undermines international law
Many of Fetterman’s constituents feel betrayed by the person they campaigned to elect in 2022. Since becoming a senator in 2023, he has repeatedly broken with fellow Democrats to support Trump’s wars and militaristic policies. Constituents hope this lunchtime educational session will help him better understand the human consequences of these positions and the growing opposition among Pennsylvanians to endless war and continued support for Israel.
