Join CODEPINK’s Anti-Imperialist Campaign Series as we turn our attention to our War Is Not Green campaign, exposing the devastating link between war, imperialism, and the climate crisis and pushing for a united front that brings together the power of the anti-war movement and environmental movement. We can’t save the planet without dismantling the war machine— it’s time to take action.
Throughout the weeks, we will uncover the #1 institutional polluter and break down how militarism fuels environmental chaos through its 800+ toxic U.S. Bases worldwide and the environmental catastrophe of endless war. We will also discuss the importance of breaking down movement silos to combine immense resources and people power, and learn lessons from cross-sector struggles against US militarism in the Global South that were just as much about the land and local ecosystems as they were about the war machine. Through articles and radio show interviews, we will hear from frontline communities that are fighting back against U.S. militarization and hybrid warfare.
