Join us Saturday, July 7th for the opening of When She Rises at SPARC in Venice. When She Rises is a 10-week women-driven arts exhibit highlighting social issues such as ecology justice, immigrant rights and women’s equality with a opening day pop-up shop, public art, programming (workshops, discussions, screenings), and intergenerational and intersectional knowledge exchange through art.
When She Rises is centered in the themes of social justice and ecology justice and will focus on the holistic wellness of the artist and her community.
When She Rises: She is the Ocean. She will disrupt. She will defend.
Ladies Love Project (LLP) is curated by NYC artist Toofly, aiming to celebrate inspiring environments for women artists where they can celebrate their creative styles in Art, Fashion and Music. LLP collaborates with some of the world’s most influential artists and designers for a one day pop-up, introducing a model for all who pay homage to market life around the globe as a staple of community building, and of starting your own independent business. LLP thrives on spreading a positive and empowering message to our community especially those who support #ShopLocal #ShopSmall #ShopHandmade and more.
