Join CODEPINK at Busboys and Poets for our second event in a series focusing on how to rise, love, and resist against the Trump administration. The upcoming panelist discussion, titled Trump and the Resistance Movement, will focus on the “leader-full” resistance movement and try to answer critical questions: Is the movement effective? Is it sustainable? What exactly are we resisting against and fighting for? What is our goal? We will highlight effective strategies for social justice and demonstrate that resistance is everywhere: from rebelling in government offices to repelling from cranes outside the White House, from occupying airports to objecting in courtrooms, from standing up in Town Hall meetings to sitting down in corporate suites.
Our wonderful speakers will include Eugene Puryear Director of Field Operations at Justice First, Gonzalo Martinez from Indivisible, and Jo Geevarghese from Good Jobs Nation!!
Join us as we reflect, evaluate and recalibrate for the struggles ahead.
