Confronting the Myths

Following the screening of Juan Passarelli's film, "The War on Journalism:  The Case of Julian Assange," CN editor Joe Lauria and a panel of experts will probe the myths surrounding Assange.  Is Assange a journalist?  Why was he accused of rape?  Is he a Russian agent?  Did he get Trump elected?  Did he hack a government computer or endanger the lives of informants?

Come prepared, virtually or in person, with your own questions. The 38-minute film is available free online (YouTube and Vimeo) and we encourage everyone to watch ahead of the scheduled event at their leisure and, hopefully, to join the discussion.

You are welcome to send your questions ahead of time to our email and we will respond at the library event.  You can also request to be on our mailing list.  [email protected]
