ON TAX DAY, join CODEPINK Bay Area on the plaza in front of the old Federal Bldg., located at 450 Golden Gate Ave., to bring the message that we are furious that our taxes are spent on arming the U.S.-Israeli genocide on Gaza.
The tax money pipeline goes from us to our government to the war profiteers like Lockheed Martin, who are making billions on the genocide. California Senators Schiff and Padilla both voted for another $8.8 billion for heavy weapons to Israel. Disgraceful! Trump is continuing Biden's genocide with our taxes. The blood of thousands of civilians is on their hands; they support the starvation and genocide of Palestinians. Disgraceful! We'll call out Lockheed Martin's astronomical profits from selling weapons to Israel to kill civilians and destroy Gaza -- the very definition of war profiteering. We pay for those weapons with our taxes and that makes us complicit. Lockheed Martin is the engine behind the endless wars and trillion dollar war budget. Disgraceful! Our taxes pay for the U.S.-Israeli genocide, making us complicit against our will. $8.8 billion more in heavy weapons was just approved by the Senate but there are Resolutions in the House to stop it. Pelosi, stop arming Israel. Shame on the U.S., shame on Israel. Silence is complicity. Please join us!
