Anti-Chevron Day: From Richmond to Palestine - A Community Gathering for Global Solidarity

For the past 10 years, Anti-Chevron Day has united climate & social justice activists -- from Ecuador to Myanmar, from the Philippines to Richmond, CA -- to demand an end to Chevron’s crimes against our communities and our environment. This year, Palestinian solidarity demands an end to Chevron’s profiting from Israeli apartheid.

Join us for an afternoon of teaching, learning and cultural exchange to build the global movement for a world beyond Chevron! We will have speakers uplifting frontline struggles around the world, and music, performances, community organization tables, food vendors and activities.

Speakers and Performers include:

  • Steven Donziger (lawyer for Ecuadorians against Chevron)
  • Brandon Lee (Journalist attacked for his activism in the Philippines)
  • Cici Jevae (Richmond Poet Laureate)
  • Dr. Rupa Marya (musician and public health advocate)
  • Eduardo Martinez (Richmond Mayor)
  • and many more!

Come learn about the impacts of Chevron around the world, and how to get involved in Richmond to grow a healthier community. Help us spread the word about the pledge to #BoycottChevron by requesting free stickers on this form.

This event will be outdoors, and ADA accessible. There is some shade available, and is less than 1/2 mile from Richmond BART. Bathrooms are on site.
