CODEPINK Sonoma County will join a rally, march, and banner drop in Santa Rosa on Tax Day, April 15 to say: "Our taxes, their wars. Stop funding ICE, empire, and genocide!"
Our taxes should serve our communities, not fuel militarism, imperialist agendas, or the inhumane practices of ICE. The action begins at the IRS at 4pm, then continues to Courthouse Square at 4:30pm, and ends with a banner drop over Highway 101.
CODEPINK will be performing a skit called "AIPAC Loves U.S. Taxpayers." The event will also include music, banners, chants, and a "Pups for Peace" brigade.
