Because of your generosity, we were able to run our ad for peace in Ukraine in Sojourner Magazine! The magazine, geared toward a social justice community, will publish the Peace in Ukraine Coalition’s full page ad with quotes from Pope Francis and a partial list of signatories of prominent religious leaders–priests, rabbis, ministers, imams and others.
Now, we need to make sure Biden sees the ad! We have a petition to Melissa Rogers, the Executive Director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

If you are involved in a faith-based community, please also print out the ad to share with your congregations and/or your religious leaders. Let our call for a ceasefire be the subject of sermons and other communications.
Our ceasefire ad follows a visit to the White House by Matteo Zuppi, Pope Francis’ Peace Envoy who met privately with President Biden to discuss humanitarian relief and diplomatic solutions to a war that has no military solution.
According to Pew Research, 74% of US adults identify with one religion or another so let's be sure to reach out to the faith-based community as we mobilize for peace in Ukraine and beyond.
