Eastern Cuba, JULY 21 - 28, 2018

Join CODEPINK on our exciting trip to Eastern Cuba! With Raúl Castro stepping down and Miguel Díaz-Canel the new president, now is an exciting time to travel to Cuba with CODEPINK  and call for diplomacy and friendship between the US and the Cuban people.

Visit the beautiful eastern cities of Camaguey, Santiago de Cuba, Granma, and Holguin. Learn about Cuba’s history with visits to museums, scenic walking tours, and even a trip to the famous Moncada Barracks and San Pedro de la Roca Castle. We’ll meet with local activists, artists,  and community organizers to hear more about initiatives to promote art and peace in Cuba. The delegation will also join thousands of Cubans in celebration for the National Festival on July 26th and lively Carnaval Santiaguero!

Barcelona, May 5–May 12, 2018

Travel with CODEPINK to Barcelona, Spain to see how activists, social movements and progressive political forces are building one of the world’s most innovative local peace economies. As we explore this magnificent city by foot and metro, we will learn about the struggle for liberation and how the city has developed under Mayor Ada Colau—a radical, feminist, housing rights activist elected in 2015. Our partner and friend María Palomares Arenas, Director of Calala Fondo de Mujeres is creating a beautiful and multi-layered tour.

Cost: $1500. Includes shared double room, most meals (1 night and 2 lunches are free time), metro pass, and support for groups who are taking their time to teach us and show us their Barcelona.
