NYC World Refugee Day Action

African Communities Together (ACT) and the City of Refuge Coalition are organizing the third annual World Refugee Day Action on Thursday, June 20, 5:30pm - 8:00pm. Our demands are: Defend TPS, Protect Refugees, Keep Families Together, and Stop Locking Up Asylum Seekers. This year we will be calling attention to the prolonged detention of asylum seekers and the deaths of refugee children in U.S. custody, and calling for a truly humanitarian immigration policy.

The exact route is to be determined, but we plan to assemble at 5:30pm in Midtown and march to a rally at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (47th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenue), located across from Trump World Tower and the United Nations.
