LA Office Coordinator

Location: Los Angeles area 

Salary: $20 per hour, with health benefits

Qualifications:  

Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills: 

  • Ability to speak and write ideas clearly and persuasively, and work with the team, local supporters and volunteers
  • Some experience with website content management tools such as Shopify, NationBuilder or WordPress
  • Familiar with Zoom webinar tech support and management
  • Proficiency with Google G Suite apps, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, and similar tools
  • Alignment with CODEPINK's mission and values to promote peace and justice via intersectional organizing

Proactive and well-organized: 

  • Has the ability to multitask, and meet deadlines effectively  
  • Ability to self-direct, taking on tasks and managing them without having to be directed by others or needing reminders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision
  • Flexible to changing priorities and job responsibilities as the need arises

Job Duties:

Locals Support

  • Coordinate Local LA organizing, events, Facebook, and visuals/photography and support other California and Oregon actions
  • Support team and CODEPINK volunteers with the visuals and other items
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, 10am PT Mondays

Web/Social Support

  • Manage online store, merchandise inventory and mailing orders
  • Archive CODEPINK alerts, news articles, pinktank articles, and webinars on our website
  • Serve as backup for other staff as needed by assisting with event postings and event reminders/text blasts
  • Post and share pinktanks on social media etc
  • Provide Zoom/webinar tech for east coast events as needed

Fundraising

  • Provide Fall + Winter fundraising mailer support

  • Donor thank you letters and follow-up

Administrative

  • Support general administrative needs as required
