Journalism for Justice: Janna Jihad, Abby Martin & Michael Prysner

Join CODEPINK for a night with 13 year-old Palestinian journalist and youth activist Janna Jihad, the youngest accredited journalist in the world and ambassador of Shamsaan, a South African children’s rights organization. Janna has been reporting since she was 7 years old, when two of her relatives were killed by Israeli occupation forces in the Palestinian village of Nabi Saleh.

Abby Martin is a visual artist and anti-imperialist journalist. She is the co-host of Media Roots Radio and creator of The Empire Files, an investigative documentary series through the lens of US empire.

Mike Prysner is an anti-war Iraq veteran, co-host of Eyes Left and the producer of Empire Files.

This event is part of Janna Jihad's US tour.
