Commemorate the 73rd Year of the Palestinian Catastrophe
As we approach the anniversary of the Nakba, the colonization of Palestine and forced expulsion of Palestinians continues. This is apparent everywhere in occupied territories, its most clear in the heart of Jerusalem, Palestine’s capital: in a town called Sheikh Jarrah, where Palestinian families are being expelled from their homes by the Israeli regime and its colonial settlers. As we mark 73 years of Nakba, we also celebrate 73 years of resistance and struggle for liberation.
Hosted by: PYM, Palestinian American Council, Palestinian American Cultural Center-Houston, and Students for Justice in Palestine-UH
Location: Corner Of Westheimer Rd. & Post Oak Blvd.
Sanitizers and masks will be available, and we will be following CDC guidelines.
