As a group, Progressives in Congress can demand the House Appropriations Committee prepare a base bill that reduces the military budget by 10-30%, and excludes billions for new nuclear weapons, the U.S. Space Force, and unnecessary overseas bases.
Instead, we need to invest in what really makes us safe: clean water, housing, and health care for all!
