Humanitarian Delegation to Holguín

Travel to the beautiful eastern city of Holguín, Cuba
Saturday, May 16 – Thursday, May 21
Six days, five nights

Cost: $800 from Miami
Includes airfare, visa, lodging in private homes, breakfast, some lunches, full itinerary, guides, airport transfers, and transportation to all visits.
Does not include travel to Miami, some lunches, dinners, evening activities, or tips.

This is an extraordinarily affordable opportunity to experience Cuba beyond the headlines. Space is limited to just 10 participants.

Priority will be given to:

• People who have never been to Cuba
• Young people under 35
• Cuban Americans (But all are welcome to apply.)

Get an inside look at how communities in eastern Cuba are coping with the economic crisis. Meet directly with farmers, students, health workers, and families. Show solidarity with the Cuban people and your outrage at the US policy designed to make them suffer. Deliver food to communal kitchens and medicines to a pediatric hospital.

This is a totally legal trip. Travel will take place under the U.S. category of “Support for the Cuban People.”

• You’ll also receive follow-up information outlining the many ways to stand in solidarity with the people of Cuba. Review the options and choose the role that fits you best.
• You’ll be connected with other participants and receive updates as the convergence approaches.
• We’ll share concrete ways to support the effort, from outreach and media to fundraising, aid collection, and participation in delegations and coordinated actions.
