Hofstra University’s Globalization Day 2018

Medea Benjamin is joining Hofstra University’s Globalization Day talks! This event’s theme, “Hungry for War? Conflict and Global Poverty,” attempts to contrast the persistent rhetoric of war with the dire conditions confronting displaced populations and to examine the political economy of famine and poverty. Medea will talk about US-Iranian relations in light of her brand new book Inside Iran; the Real History and Politics of the Islamic Republic. And with President Trump’s self-imposed deadline of May 12 to kill the Iran deal unless Iran makes new concessions, this discussion could not be more timely!

Books will be available for sale and signing at the event.
