Ground the F-35 - Burlington, VT

CODEPINK issued a call for a National Week of Action Against the F-35 with local actions around the country during the last week of March.

Here in Vermont a new state-wide Vermont Anti-War Coalition formed in February, and at a meeting last week called for public participation in two meetings that the City of Burlington is hosting next week.

The city owns the airport and has the power to halt the F-35 training at its airport.

Join in person or on zoom:

(1) City Council, Monday March 27, Public Forum at 7:30 pm. Sign up to speak about how the F-35 hurts you and say what you want the City to do. See the Ground the F-35 letter for talking points.

(2) The Transportation, Energy, and Utilities Committee (TEUC), Tuesday, March 28 Public Forum at 5 pm. Airport Direction Nic Longo will be presenting a report on aviation emissions, including F-35 emissions at the TEUC meeting.

Add your voice March 27 and March 28!

Please revisit this site for updates in the coming days, including zoom links. Make sure to wear PINK!
