Join CODEPINK Madison on Sunday, March 23rd at Madison Christian Community for a conversation with two Iowans as they reflect on their time on the ground in Gaza.
Sisters Kristine Wilkie of Madison and Martha Monson Lowe of Decorah invite you to hear about their eyewitness accounts of life under apartheid, focusing on the realities of land confiscation, lack of movement, checkpoints, unemployment, lack of water, and the violation of other human rights.
Along with their presentation, Palestinian handwork will be for sale, including olive wood carvings, pottery, embroidery, olive oil soap, jewelry, keffiyehs, Hebron glass, and more.
