Shireen Al-Adeimi is a Yemeni-American activist and educator that discusses the history of Yemen in regards to its politics and how an internal struggle led to the U.S.-Saudi intervention that has terrorized the country. Hassan El-Tayyab is a legislative manager for Middle East Policy at the Friends Committee on National Legislation that elaborates how Yemen is the world's worst humanitarian crisis and the pandemic has only worsened its situation with children suffering the most from malnutrition, disease, poverty, and more; even so, aid to Yemen has been drastically cut.
