San Luis Obispo- brave students at Cal Poly need your community support! Anti-war activists affiliated with the group SLO Peace Coalition are holding a protest at the Cal Poly winter career fair where Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing and other weapons manufacturers will be recruiting students to work for companies that make a killing on killing. Food will be served by Food Not Bombs at noon and speakers will follow.
Please support your local student activists in fighting the war machine on their campus. When students and communities stand together for peace, we are powerful! These anti-war students have been relentlessly targeted by their campus administration for past career fair protests where they sang peacefully in front of Raytheon’s table for less than twenty minutes. Now, they are asking for community support in this protest outside the career fair, because our strength lies in our numbers.
