20 hours per week, $25/hr based on experience

CODEPINK is seeking a passionate and hard-working activist based in D.C. to support our actions in the halls of Congress and in the streets of DC.
You must be based in D.C. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting volunteers, organizing and a history of working with Palestine justice movements.
Specific Duties:
- Working with campaign leads to create information for Congressional offices
- Supporting the volunteers who work in the halls of Congress with materials and plan for each week
- Organizing and coordinating with key volunteers to develop strategy and materials for Congress
- Checking Congressional hearing schedules, press conferences and informal briefings to build schedule
- Planning ahead to create a daily/weekly schedule of meetings with Congressional offices and hearings to attend
- Organize local events and days of action
- Working in coalition with local and national partners/organizations around major actions in DC area
- Working with our communications team to ensure our events get the coverage needed (photography, videos, report-back blogs, social media, supporter engagement, etc)
- Supporting local CODEPINK members
- Coordinating CODEPINK representation at events or within coalitions
- Working openly and cooperatively with other team members
- Participating in weekly staff meetings
- Post on local DC social media
Required Qualifications:
- History of working on Palestine issues
- Writing and research skills
- Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to multitask and work on multiple deadlines simultaneously, in a fast-paced campaign environment
- Experience working with both online and in-person organizing
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Slack, WhatsApp etc
- Proficiency with Google G Suite apps, Google Docs/Sheets, and similar tools
- Ability to learn new software, take online training courses as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
