On Monday, August 5 the Trump Administration issued an Executive Order expanding sanctions on Venezuela. The Order was effective Tuesday, August 6. Yesterday, CODEPINK held a press conference in front of the White House in conjunction with ANSWER Coalition, Black Alliance for Peace, and two Embassy Protectors to denounce what is now a full blockade/quarantine on Venezuela.
