While this administration holds a UFC fighting match on the White House lawn, they continue to escalate wars and genocide forever abroad, to militarize our communities, strip our rights, and cage our immigrant neighbors and our youth here at home. While they fight, they want us to live in fear.
We can interrupt this by choosing one another instead of fear. On the night of Trump’s cage match, we’re going to do just that. DC Local to Global, Ward 2 Mutual Aid, CODEPINK DC, 505051, FUN DMV, and more allies on Sunday, June 14.
We'll meet at the Wilson Building and then move to have a creative community meal. We will be selling our "Feed the People Not the War" t-shirts with proceeds going to Ward 2 Mutual Aid for their food distributions.
Together, we’ll make it clear that our power to show up for one another is stronger than their efforts to keep us divided and afraid.
