Join CODEPINK and the DC Against Trump Agenda coalition on Wednesday, December 10 at 6 p.m., for the Human Rights Day rally at 14th and U Streets NW to oppose the deployment of U.S. troops in Washington, D.C., and the escalation of U.S. military aggression in Venezuela. Held one day before the scheduled withdrawal of National Guard forces from the capital, the action will call attention to how militarization in civilian spaces undermines public safety and democratic rights, while U.S. intervention abroad fuels instability and suffering across the region. Participants will demand the removal of troops from D.C., an end to Capitol militarization, and a halt to U.S. interference in Venezuela.
