Thank You for Standing Up for Our Right to Boycott!

Thank you for urging Governor Cuomo to rescind his unconstitutional executive order! It's vitally important that he hear from as many of us as possible and also that he get phone calls from his constituents in New York, calling for him to reverse this action.

Residents of New York State:

If you live in New York State, please take an additional few minutes to call the Governor’s office in Albany to let him know that you support free speech and the right to boycott: (518) 474-8390

Sample script:

I am calling to ask Governor Cuomo to immediately repeal Executive Order 157. It is unconstitutional to punish those who use boycott and divestment as a means to bring about political change. Boycotts are a constitutionally protected and time-honored nonviolent tactic to achieve social justice.

EVERYONE: Can you help us get as much support as possible by using the links below to share this action on social media and by emailing your friends with the sample message we've included?

I just took action to urge New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo to rescind his Executive Order 157, an order that unconstitutionally punishes those who use boycott and divestment as a means to bring about political change. Boycotts are a constitutionally protected and time-honored nonviolent tactic to achieve social justice and Governor Cuomo should not bully BDS activists who are using it to to end Israel's occupation.
