No War With Iran: CODEPINK Congress Capitol Calling Party

Tuesday, Oct 17 Capitol Calling Party

Join CODEPINK Congress as we educate, activate and mobilize for peace legislation!

The danger of a regional war intensifies in the Middle East, where Israel has turned Gaza into a graveyard and bombed the Iranian embassy in Syria, killing seven Iranian diplomats. Over the weekend, the US and Israel intercepted hundreds of Iranian missiles launched in retaliation toward Tel Aviv, and now President Biden is urging  Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu not to escalate with further attacks.

Meanwhile, a dozen Republican lawmakers are circulating a letter accusing President Biden of embracing a strategy of appeasement with Iran.

How can we avert a wider regional war and esure the White House and Congress are not goaded into a catastrophic war with Iran?

Join CODEPINK Congress as we discuss the dangers of the US-Israel alliance and the imperative to avert a war with Iran and end US complicity in genocide.
