Join CODEPINK, Veterans for Peace, Fridays For Future DC, ShutdownDC and more in supporting Earth Guardians’ Youth Organizers in a Washington, D.C. protest on November 12th to demand that the United States take aggressive action against climate change during COP27. Our War Is Not Green (WING) contingent will be calling out the Pentagon as it's the largest institutional polluter in the world!
The event will begin at 12:30pm EST. Everyone will meet at the Lincoln Memorial where we will hear from speakers, poets, and artists, then we will march to the U.S. Capitol where the WING contingent will co-lead an interactive street art installation.
Start at the Lincoln Memorial steps. We will march along Constitution Ave. NW, up 15th St. NW and down Pennsylvania Ave. to the Capitol building.
