BLOCK THE BOAT LA

Join CODEPINK and BlocktheBoatLA to help raise awareness of the occupation and local BDS efforts to fight it. We will have a BDS banner drop to raise awareness of social media campaigns for this Saturday's action.

Meet us on Willow at the top of the 710 overpass, for an opportunity to get involved in the Block the Boat movement, network, and raise awareness. Bring signs relating to BDS, freedom in Palestine, and anti-occupation.

Free street parking will be available on Golden Ave. and Willow, directly adjacent to the overpass.

-----------------------------------------------

Block the Boat is proving to be one of the most exciting and effective methods of BDS so far, with estimates that a few hours of delay could cause the Israeli owned ZIM cargo company millions of dollars.

All attendees are expected to abide by the following action guidelines:

● Any hostility or aggressive behavior is not accepted.

● Palestine-related posters/flags, a black/green/red-shirt attire, and a compassionate/inspiring attitude are encouraged.

● Fliers and chant sheets will be provided at action.
