Tell the Senate to ban stock trading for members of Congress!

Did you know over 50% of our members of Congress trade stocks? The personal finances of our representatives are pegged to the success of specific industries - and the Armed Services committees have the most stock trading of any congressional committee.

The members of Congress who approved this year's record-high $858 billion military budget own stocks in defense corporations like Lockheed Martin - they are using their power and our tax dollars to line their own pockets. This is blatant corruption at the highest level.

Getting military money out of politics plays a crucial part in our work to cut the Pentagon budget and reinvest in our communities. Write to your Senator and ask that they move forward with the congressional stock trading ban!

A few years ago some sleazy senators were caught dumping their stocks after learning of the magnitude of Covid 19 in China.

We have the best Congress that money can buy: campaigns paid for by corporate bribery and fortunes made through insider trading. Good luck to Democracy in the USA.
